3-betting pocket 5s

3 times in a recent tournament I had problems with pocket 5s in the big blind to a late position open. In this hand, I elected to 3-bet pre flop then after my c-bet got called I elected to barrel again on the turn to put huge pressure on marginal holdings and hands like TT 88 and 77 and even a weak Ace. As played I folded to his jam because all I could beat was a flush draw. Did I play this wrong or just get unlucky? Thanks

The second time I also 3 bet 55 from the big blind to a late position open, and then he 4-bet shoved so I folded. 

The third time I elected to flat with 55 in the big blind to a late position open for about 7.5 percent of the effective stack. And then I check folded on an A82 rainbow flop. Did I play that hand optimally. Thanks?
