ALL IN with reshove stack size on limped table with A7o

  • Gil T (Kingston, NY)

Here we have a limped table with 22K in the pot before I close the action in the BB.  I have A7o with about 16 BB.  I decide to jam to pick up the dead money since no one seemed to have a good hand and I thought if I was called I would still have some equity to win and double my stack.  I get called by Pocket 3s with less money and lose most of my stack.  I believe this is a positive EV play with the amount of fold equity I have and the capped ranges of my opponents and the chance to increase my stack by 50%.  Do you agree with this move? No ICM considerations since we were at least 20 players from the money. Thanks Gil
