I play a $1 $3 cash game at the local casino. If I buy in for $200 and most players have at least $200 stacks or more, what’s the maximum I would want to call preflop with a speculative hand in order to not put my stack or session in jeopardy? Many nights, I end up calling on my spec hands, missing on the flop and blinding out of my buy in. I do raise premium hands, however missing flops with spec hands and premium hands dwindles my buy in quickly. Anything I can do to avoid this? Thanks in advance!
