Continuation bet or Jam

A super aggressive player in the big blind, who won many pots without a showdown. Should I have jammed on this flop or made a standard continuation bet which made me pot committed. I understood this when I raised, actually hoping for his all-in bet. What would you think his justification was on this jam, with no draw and a diamond monotone flop. I was certainly playing a tight aggressive style up to this point.
