Dealing with "Calling Limpers"

  • jrporras (panama)

Hello - struggling a little bit when there are a few limpers behind me and I make the first raise. Raise amount ok for table.... adding the usual big blind per limper. But then a few of those limpers do call my raise. My main problem is putting those "calling limpers" on a range. If they were raisers, I would have a better gauge, but because they started as limpers, im a little lost. What is the purpose of limping in anyway, is it precisely to disguise your hand? If so, my raise has to be aggressive enough so as to eliminate every limper behind me? --- I haven't been able to do that so whenever I end up even head to head with a calling limper, I struggle.

Thanks
