facing an utg raise that was then 3 bet

  • Tim (Boca Raton, Fl)

early stage of tournament; full 9 table; all deep stacked; no history or info on opponents; utg 3x bb raise; lojack 4x utg bet; you are in sb with QQ; do you call, fold, or 4 bet? Struggling with the answer because if you 4 bet then either opponent could 5 bet all in with AA KK or AK; if you call oop then still have utg player to act who could then 5 bet so now you wasted alot of chips unless you dare call the 5 bet which might be a shove; even if the utg just calls, unless a queen hits the flop what are doing with a large turn bet? If the bet is from utg but he only called the 3 bet, then his range is capped; so you are ok if flop not A or K unless the lojack player heavy bets the flop; then what; unike utg his range was notcapped; so even though I hate to toss QQ early in the tournament  unless I think lojack 3 bets with a wider range; like large suited connectors; I guess I'm folding; but do I play to tight? thanks, Tim
