I play 1/2 NL live poker. I find that I can rarely call using the given criteria because of the large bet sizes (even when the average stack size is inexcess of 100 BB). how do I balance my hand range while still trying to be ahead of the opening range of the initial bettor? I find that I usually have big cards and when the bet comes small and I am playing an observant oponent I have a difficult time.
