Making the jump from serious recreational player to full time

  • Vintage69 (Laguna Beach, California )

I'm thinking about making the jump from a serious recreational player, to actually trying to make a living playing full time. I've been self employed my entire life. Poker bankroll management is in place, growing slowly, but steadily. Keeping accurate records of days, time of day, hours played, wins and loses. Logging troublesome hands for later review and analysis. Am planning on taking 10% above my 50X bankroll and playing the next level up. I'm asking what are some of the other things you've experienced that should be taken into serious consideration when deciding to try and make the transition from recreational to professional? Thank you again for the most comprehensive and usable poker lessons ever produced.
