I have seen Phil Hellmuth fold out hands like AK pre-flop and his explanation was he didn't want to be "coin flipping" where you are close to 50/50 shot. In many of our hand examples on the videos we are looking for 40%-50% equity to make a call preflop or sometimes post flop even if the situation shows that a coin flip is the best you are going to get. Shouldn't we be looking for spots pre and post flop where we are the clear favorite (at least 60%-70% equity) based on an estimate of our opponents hand ranges and not just coin flipping and even avoiding situations where it is likely that you are flipping?
