QQ vs 3bet preflop on literal bubble

Online MT-Tournament. Buy in- $15.50. 153 players remaining at the beginning of hand. 152 get paid. Hand for hand play is currently going on. Action folds to hero with QQ in low jack. Hero raises to 2.5bb preflop, folds to bb who raises 2.5x hero's open. Should hero fold, call, raise, or shove? I choose to shove as a standard raise would be 50% of the effective stack, and was snap called by kk. I didn't suck-out and placed 153. Since this was on the bubble, and it was likely that someone would bust out this round of hands, or the next (I remember seeing several at least 4 players with under 6bb, and the button at our table had 7bb), Im wondering if even folding would be appropriate? If I called, I don't know I could fold because QQ remained an overpair to the board. Thank you for your help!!
