Risky move

I had my opponents hand range on big broadway cards or a pocket pair.He is a good and observant player who does alot of talking at the table.I had not been aggressive for a while,and when I had been I usually had a good hand at show down. I had recently saw episode 267, and felt like I could represent a 9 here.When he folded he showed me his JJ's and begged me to show the 9. It felt good that this worked, but I wanted your opinion if you thought this was a good move ?
