Should I have shoved ?

I believe I should have shoved in position with A/10 (two Broadway cards) ,but was on the money bubble, and another short stack still in the game but had folded . Guess I went far too tight considering the flop outcome, but of course did not know that flop was coming. I did play this badly trying to stay in the money did I not ?
