Turned Str8 and Nut Flush draw

After turning and str8 and nut flush draw I got raised on the turn and decided to call the bet. The river was a 7 enabling my opponent to have a higher str8. They were raising on the same flush draw as me and when he turned over J6 he said he would have folded to an allin bet on the turn.  Should I have raised allin or did I play this correctly by calling on the turn?
