I have observed that tipping the dealer one dollar per pot taken down seems to be standard in 1/3 or 2/5 games (maybe greater than one dollar if a fairly large pot is won). However, I wanted to know if there is a more structured way (e.g., tip a certain percentage of the pot won or tip the dealer at the end of his/her rotation a larger amount all at once rather than tipping per pot). Anyway, I appreciate any input as I understand that tipping is both important for good form/etiquette yet can certainly eat into one's profits also and I would like a proper balance. Thanks!
