Isn't effective stack size always me? Because if someone raises more than 5% of my stack I'm folding regardless. Right? Because in other places I was told the 5% rule is mainly about my stack and that by not to call anymore than 5% so like you have said that this way I'm not investing much of my chips on spec hands and is ok to call upto 7% on small pairs. I know you said the effective stack size is the next smallest stack. I guess my question is what does it matter what my opponents stack size is. As long as I'm not calling off more than 5% of my stack??
