The process of dividing up the remaining odd chips after a color up in a tournament. Example: 25 denomination chips are raced off, each player receives 1 x 100 denomination chip for each 4 x 25 denomination chips. Each player who has odd chips leftover places their odd 25 denomination chips in front of their stack. The dealer gives one card face up to each person for each odd chip they have in front of them. The odd chips are then collected and converted into the higher denomination chips and awarded to the highest ranking cards dealt.
