A shortcut to calculating your percentage chance of hitting one of your outs on the next card. Multiply the number of outs x 2 and this gives you the percentage chance of hitting one of your outs on the next card. For example, if you have a flush draw with 9 outs, multiply 9 x 2 to get a result of 18. This means you have an 18% chance of hitting one of your flush outs on the next card to be dealt.
