Niall "Firaldo87" Farrell

Niall Farrell, also known by his online screen name “firaldo87” has been dominating the live and virtual felt since 2008. Learning the game by watching late night poker on UK television, Niall started playing with house mates during his time studying business law in Stirling and further developed his passion for poker. As one of only 10 players to have secured poker's coveted Triple Crown by winning a WPT Main Tour title at WPT Caribbean in Season XV, in Europe a WSOP Bracelet for taking down the 2017 €25,000 High Roller, and the 2015 EPT Malta Main Event, Niall has earned the respect as one of the best players in the world. In addition to his impressive results in live poker, Niall has secured millions in online tournament earnings with prestigious victories including the 2014 Full Tilt Poker FTOPS Main Event  and multiple PokerStars SCOOP titles.

Niall was featured as the subject of a BBC Scotland documentary called The Four Rules of the Poker Kings which chronicled a year in his career across four tournament stops – EPT Prague in March, EPT Monte Carlo and UKIPT Dublin in May, and ending at the 2022 WSOP. In addition to being widely recognized for his exceptional poker play Niall showcases his expansive strategic knowledge while providing commentary for major online and live events.

Eric “Rizen” Lynch

Known in cyberspace as “Rizen”, Eric’s internet poker career took off when he won the PokerStars Million Dollar Guaranteed Tournament in May 2006 and took the prestigious Tournament Leaderboard award for that month. Eric has made over 300 Final Tables in high profile events, including 5 WSOP tournaments featuring a 3rd place finish in a Pot Limit WSOP Event in 2006. He also excels at the cash game tables, having logged thousands of profitable hours both live and online.

Eric is one of the pioneers in hand analysis and is the author of Winning Poker Tournaments One Hand at a Time, Vols. I, II, and III, considered the most comprehensive collection of expert hand analysis in print.

He has had the privilege of helping hundreds of students from all skill levels grow into successful players during the past 13 years teaching alongside Nick Binger and Andrew Lichtenberger for the World Poker Tour and has been a valued member of Team LearnWPT since our start. Ask any of his students what separates Eric from other poker instructors and they’ll say it is his ability to make the game more understandable for all players.

Q: WILL THIS EVENT INCLUDE CLASSROOM STYLE INSTRUCTION?
A: The LearnWPT Live Poker Lab does not have classroom style lecture sessions to allow for as much time as possible to address the specific needs of each student. Instructors may set up specific situations during the Lab Sessions to address leaks commonly observed in the class throughout the day. We will also have several tools and supporting assets to ensure full clarity of concepts addressed during each Session.

Sessions at the LearnWPT Live Poker Lab in Las Vegas will be a combination of Student Play and Lab Sessions. During Student Play Sessions students will play in a simulated tournament environment with a professional dealer using TDA Rules. Student Play Sessions are specifically designed to elicit your most "honest" poker reaction during play so that your actual leaks can be addressed. During Lab Sessions the Instructors will deal and provide instant feedback on your play. Sessions will alternate throughout the day between Student Play and Lab Sessions.

Students will receive a complete professional recording of all Sessions as well as a personalized report with detailed next actions and recommendations from your Instructors.
