10:00AM - 11:15AM
ESSENTIALS OF PREFLOP PLAY
We kick off the Workshop by reviewing the Essentials of Preflop Play. We’ll make sure everyone is on the same page and is ready to utilize the LearnWPT Game Plan as the rock solid foundation to build on for the Advanced concepts you’ll learn over the next 3 days including:
- How to View Position in NL Hold’em
- Raising First Into the Pot
- Hand Range Analysis
- Capped vs Uncapped Ranges
This session is your chance to clarify Essential concepts and start off the weekend ready for growth.
11:30AM - 1:00PM
ADVANCED PREFLOP PLAY
The first step to Advanced play is thinking in hand ranges. Range vs Range analysis will transform your game and allow you to think creatively in real time. We’ll dive deep into preflop play and provide you with a matrix for advanced decision making preflop including:
- First-In and Responsive Play (with detailed range charts)
- Realizing Equity
- Positional Defense Strategy
- Unified Preflop Decision Trees
This session will teach you to incorporate more advanced preflop techniques into your game, balanced with aggression, to become a more fearsome opponent.
2:00PM - 3:30PM
ADVANCED PREFLOP DECISION POINTS
It’s time to test your knowledge and reinforce the new pieces of your game plan. We’ll go through a series of simulation hands designed to focus on the new preflop concepts you learned.
- Challenging scenarios with short response times to simulate real game play
- Diagnose issues in your preflop game and get corrections in real-time
- In-depth feedback from the Pros, each sharing their unique approach
- Creating a winning practice habit by focusing on decision, not results
During this session you’ll get to use your new perspective to make decisions under pressure. The LearnWPT Pros will provide feedback on your thought process and guide you in recognizing the key factors essential to enhancing your game.
3:45PM - 5:15PM
ADVANCED POSTFLOP PLAY
Build on your Advanced Preflop play foundation and add key concepts to your game plan. We’ll give you a complete postflop approach to maximize ROI including factors that are seldom considered by the average opponents you’ll face such as:
- Nut Advantage
- Equity Advantage
- Range vs Range Play
- Influence of Blockers
- Backdoor Equity
Get the tools you need to exploit weak players and battle your toughest opponents postflop. Learn the strategies that will frustrate the table and have you stacking chips.
5:30PM - 6:00PM
QUESTIONS... MEET ANSWERS
This is your opportunity to ask any questions regarding the new Advanced strategies you just learned. Start your cycle of constant improvement during this session and ask questions while also listening to the questions from fellow students.
- Clarify new concepts you've learned
- Find exceptions to the "rules"
- Ensure you've correctly integrated what you've learned

MASTERING FLOP PLAY
During this highly interactive session we’ll use the building blocks of our Advanced Strategy to demonstrate new profitable lines and strategies for flop play that will keep your opponents guessing including:
- Balancing Checking and Betting Ranges
- Continuation Betting Against Tough Players
- Attacking Capped Ranges
- Check-Raising Flops
- Overbetting
This section will accelerate your learning curve by alternating concept discussion with Decision Point Scenarios to reinforce through practical application in real time.
11:30AM - 1:00PM
MASTERING TURN PLAY
This session will continue the accelerated learning approach with a focus on mastering Advanced Turn Play. The Pros will provide you with new tools to tackle turn play including:
- Advanced Bet Sizing
- Firing Multiple Barrels
- Influence of Blockers
- Backdoor Equity
- Balancing Checking and Betting Ranges
We’ll dive deep into turn plays that will put pressure on opponents and set you up for success on the river, then practice them immediately with interactive Decision Point Scenarios.
2:00PM - 3:30PM
MASTERING RIVER PLAY
We’ll arrive on The River equipped with the Advanced concepts and strategies learned throughout the weekend and show you how the best players in the world approach this critical street including:
- Turning Made Hands Into Bluffs
- Overbetting
- Donk Leading
- Hero Calling
- Putting it all together
During this session we’ll introduce nuanced concepts designed maximize profit and win pots in spots where others simply fold. We’ll test your knowledge and reinforce what you’ve learned through interactive Decision Point Scenarios.
3:45PM - 5:15PM
ADJUSTING TO SPECIFIC PLAYERS
Knowing how, when, and why to adjust to specific player tendencies from your default game plan is what separates amateurs from professionals. In this session we’ll help you understand:
- How to Adjust to Real World Opponents
- When is the Correct Time to Deviate
- The Reasons to Adjust to Player Tendencies
- Specific Moves to Counter Villain Plays
The average opponent adjusts based on “feel". We’ll show you how to adjust property based on fact.
5:30PM - 6:00PM
Q&A AND NEXT STEPS
At the end of two information-packed days, you will undoubtedly have questions about everything we’ve learned during the weekend. During this session is your time to ask questions about the strategies we’ve discussed.
