AKo facing a surprise 3rd person with a couple preflop flats

Fairly new table, I was totally clueless that the UTG+1 had anything that big! He limped the BB 200, then flatted my raise to 1.2k, then called my 3-way all-in. I shoved over the top of the short stack shove trying to isolate. I am wondering if there is another track I can take here? Is there any defense for a slow-played preflop?
