bad call with AJo?

i had only 3 hands on him when he played and his vpip was 33% and 33% and 0-3bet(3hands, i know 3 hands means nothing) and i just won a hand with him previously with AA, he raised to 6k on the buttion with 76k in chips, with 96s and i jammed with AA and 24k in chips and he called and i won and doubled up and next hand we had the same in chips(roughtly the same stacks).  next hand he jammed with 99 and i called with AJo.  the pots odds to call were 2.6-1 or 28%.  I thought since he called with 96s when i had AA, i thought he had a wide range with he being on the button, and possibly being on tilt after that previous loss, and because he jammed, i thought i was ahead of his range.  good call or bad?   his sharkscope rank was 67
